2009 SEASON
Well we’re into the 2010 Legion Baseball season. We will post new information a soon as we get it. You can look at prior season info by using the link above.

2010 Game Schedual
The Post 59 team has qualified to defend its State title in the State of Arizona American Legion Baseball Tournament which will be held in Surprise, Arizona starting on July 27, 2010. The tournament is double elimination, and the winner will represent the State of Arizona in the American Legion West Regional's in Las Vegas starting on August 5, 2010.
Four Tucson teams and four Phoenix teams have qualified for the tournament.

The Post 59 Baseball team had a successful season, though they fell short of winning a 6th State title since 2000.

The team finished 4th in the Pacific Southwest Baseball League tournament, a College organization affiliated with the National Baseball Congress.

After qualifying for the Arizona State American Legion Tournament in Surprise, AZ, the team won its first two games before coming up short against the eventual State Champion Northwest Red Raiders from Tucson.

Once again, the team was successful in placing players in colleges around the country.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the Veterans and Members of Post 59 for their generous support.

Post 59 won its first game in the Arizona State American Baseball Tournament on Tuesday by beating Kellis of Phoenix 17-2. Mike Rodriguez go the win. Christian Muscarello and Ray Finley had home runs.

On Wednesday Post 59 beat Post 7 of Tucson, 13 to six. Dan Slania got the win, and hit two home runs and drove in 5. Hector Minjarez had a home run, two doubles and 5 RBIs as well. Christian Muscarello hit the first pitch of the game for a home run,but was unfortunately injured late in the game.

Post 59 and the Tucson Red Raiders, the sole undefeated teams left in the double elimination tournament, square off at 9:00 AM on Thursday at the Surprise Sports Complex in the Phoenix area.
